I missed the last one cuz I got my days mixed up. I talked to Station8 and he said a lot of folks were missing during that meeting. I guess the 4th of July messed them up lol.

Reliving Last NightFollowing last night's highly eventful meeting I played it back on KDX and found it to be good listening. So much fun, in fact, that it will be aired again tonight following Ralph Nader's Radio Hour. Put a Nickle In and Push This Button

Hey I'm listening to Security Now with Steve Gibson on KDX. Pretty cool. I think KDX has some good stuff on it. Heard Buzz Berbank too.

What Good Listeners Say
TheLegacy has the best taste in radio: "I think KDX has some good stuff on it. Heard Buzz Berbank too."
Thank you for the good feedback.

I remember Steve Gibson from a long time ago when he had his computer security website, and programmed apps in assembly language. It's possible I'd heard of him through Kim Komando back then.
Ah, the early days when the masses were all coming on line and computer talk shows were a great service to learn from, all the little tricks to do with your PC and Windows, how to stop popups and spam, or encode your CDs into mp3 at 128k.

Count Me On Board For This
All right Jeff, Carl here, and we will be present at the SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ALPB scheduled for Saturday at 7:30 PM EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME.
The recording machine will be running.
Saturday here at the Internet Building will be the hottest day of the year... 106 DEGREES F !! ... so there is a possibility the power company will break, which would keep us from attending. Keep your fingers crossed.

Yes I agree this is a problem. I wonder if the Broadcastvision AXS-FMT or the Decade MS-100 is clean or not. You'd think it should be. I don't have a spectrum analyzer but if I can get hold of a communications/shortwave receiver with coverage of all the frequencies from 108.1MHZ and up like a Grundig satellite I will see if I am heard in any other bands at a reasonable distance away, maybe 25 ft or so. But some of this is not the transmitter but the receiver bleeding strong signals all over the band as common in lousy radios. My Sony ICF-506(a new radio on the market) doesn't do any of this even 2 ft from the transmitter but another radio has me popping up all over in the same room. All the strong regular stations do this too and block out the weak ones from getting through. I may do a review of the new Sony ICF 506...http://www.sony.ca/en/electronics/radios/icf-506 The Sony ICF 801 from Japan and Panasonic RF 2400 are bad for this, as are the radios in cheap boomboxes.
