A. The station was only one out of hundreds-of-thousands of streaming radio stations in the world and recognized that streaming was a pointless and ridiculous endeavor very unlikely to develop an audience.
Q. Yet a few days later KDX began streaming again. Did you change your mind?
A. No. Streaming really is unworthwhile under the old philosophy of believing that holding an audience is the measure of a station's success. We came back with an entirely new philosophy which disregards the audience factor. The KDX of today is an entirely different radio station.

A. Status. Prestige. Being known about town as the owner of an international radio station results in attentive and respectful bankers, grocers and neighbors who are highly impressed without ever admitting that they aren't sure where the station is located or how it can be heard.
