Titled "Tube Time" this 97th Low Power Hour brings an extended Low Power In the News. Halloween marked the launch of Global 24, a new shortwave station at 9395 kHz which is sure to spark renewed interest in part 15 shortwave. We have their Inaugural Broadcast, for those who weren't tuned in. Rock95seven in Busy Kentucky announces a new AM radio service in a blue bucket. Two calls in the same day inform Carl his Microsoft computer is defective, but Carl tells them he doesn't have a Microsoft computer and they run out of things to say. Carl is accepted to compete in the new Sleep Olympics and shares his secret sleep inducing sound. During tryouts Carl's dream is produced and directed by Rich Powers. Denise Howell's "This Week in Law" from TWiT.tv sings the FCC Net Neutrality Song. Staff announcer Ned Steddy's brother Ted starts a time radio station with live on-the-minute time announcements. Skeptoid does a presentation on electron tubes. Announcer Arthur Shrank reports from Bob & Ray's Trophy Train.
