Wireless Mics Pick Up AudioWireless mics used in recording studios and movie stages are used for everything and anything in the way of audio... Wireless mics pick up orchestras, solo instruments, bird song, the sound of a streetcar rolling by, and the crowd sound at the March for Science. In church the preachers can even tell Big Lies using wireless mics. All this is true but try to connect a mixer to one?

Druid Hills embarrasses self: "All this is true but try to connect a mixer to one?"
Heck, I have a mic mixer right here with 3 microphones connected to it!

Carl didn't you have a wireless mic that transmits on TV channel 8?
I'm sure these Wireless Mike's would have the same type of device that your mic has only a different frequency.
As far as range how far did yours get? This might be about the same as we could expect.

TheLegacy recalls correctly: "Carl didn't you have a wireless mic that transmits on TV channel 8?"
Yes and it's still good.
Lectrosonics looked at their TV station chart way back when I purchased it and they saw that in my area no TV station exists on Channel 8, 184.3 MHz, so they sent this transmitter/receiver which works wonderfully.
Technically with the new rule 15.236 I think I need to check with Lectrosonic because the repack could move a station to Channel 8.
If I'm still good, I think I need to register with the database to remain legal. I am still trying to find out.
I never hear other traffic on my channel and the spectrum analyzer, which can detect my signal, never sees any activity near channel 8.

I wonder if they have a channel 6 Mic? And channel 5 May be around 86 Mhz.
