I would like to propose discussion on the idea of the ALPB creating a liaison to the ARRL. They're big. We are not. It's in our interest to be chummy so that we can explore our mutual interest in oscillation. They have a page about Part 15 as it affects ham radio. We should enlist their aid so that we perpetuate our hobby. Besides, many of us broadcasters are also hams. Other than being natural allies, they are latent, flea-powered broadcasters.

Man Has Brilliant Idea
CENTINEL proposes: "I would like to propose discussion on the idea of the ALPB creating a liaison to the ARRL."
This sounds like an excellent thing to do and we very much hope you will join the next TeamSpeak Meeting of ALPB on Saturday April 1 to open the discussion and present the plan for carrying it out.
Contact Chairman Felmly for login instructions.

I'd say that I agree.

The other problem has been one of equipment. Presumably you need a headset or something to talk. Don't have one at home, which is where I usually am when the meetings commence. I'll see if I can get one from work and use it. Already have the log-in info.

It Might Be Easier Than It Is
CENTINEL was concerned "Presumably you need a headset or something to talk."
No ya don't.
You need a microphone into the "mic in" of your computer.
You need normal computer speakers.
When setting up in TeamSpeak establish a key to open and close your microphone. Right-CTRL is good.
Avoid "Vox" because it is jumpy.
I have no computer speakers. My computer audio output is fed to C.Crane FM2 Transmitter at 89.9 MHz and I listen to the meeting on a radio.
Life is happy and birds are singing.

Some even participate by using the "Chat Box" for the meeting room which is located at the bottom of the page.
You can type your questions, responses and comments in the "Chat Box". A tone alerts us to the fact that you have posted in the "Chat Box".

Just curious, but this affects my suggestion.
1. Is ALPB incorporated? 2. I've read the Statement regarding the ALPB mission, but do we have by-laws?

The ALPB is not incorporated.
The ALPB has a Charter but no by-laws.
