I am going for this certification. I suspect that a few of you already qualify. I bring it up because it's the kind of thing that will help professionalize us a bit while it remains an avocation. www.sbe.org/sections/CBT.phpSoon I'll be back on the bandwagon toward my General license ( work has been intense). And as soon as I get it the clock ticks toward two years to complete a CBT since I am broadcasting.

YES it would be time well spent for the serious part 15 radio technician to earn this well respected certification.
It's something we don't recall being suggested in these forums in the recent past.

How many of us are hams here? I'd bet at least a third. My thought is that if we are challenged by the engineering feat of Part 15, we should get credit for our hard endeavors.
I was hoping to hear from Billy at Dewberry Jam if he ever applied for it. He qualifies for it and said he'd apply. Lost touch with him after I left fakebook.
