Hey Carl, I sent you an email earlier but it was returned, so here is what i was trying to show you and maybe this can help others planning to host a website at home. "Finally found the service i used when lived in London,Ky. This service offers step by step instructions for pointing your domain name to a home server and has 99% uptime." freedns.afraid.org/

And Greetings to Barry Right Over Where I'm Pointing... Kentucky
Thanks for the "afraid" choice of free DNS deals...
I just sent you a (2nd) e-mail about my new e-mail address... possibly the 1st one got lost.
The latest state with my No-IP setup is...
My official domain names have been transferred to No-IP, but they have notified me that the domain names are set to the wrong worldnic.com dns, and that I need to correct it... by possibly talking to.... anyway, the confusion was partly narrowed down today when I phoned Network Solutions the original registrars, and they verified that my domains had been transferred... "But, I said, they are still pointing to your servers"..."Yes" he said, "but YOU have to change it, we no longer can change it..."
My next step is to diddle with it some more tonight, and tomorrow I'll call No-IP and hold a talk with them.
Every day my goal is to learn one new thing, then take the rest of the day off.
Oh, this e-mail counts as "one thing". Guess I'm off duty now! Life is so close to being fun.
