Many Part 15 radio stations carry newscasts as part of a day's schedule.
A study comparing several newscasts to one-another has found that not all newscasts are equal.
Over the past 24-hours one story in particular has been unfolding in Oregon where the tense final hours of a standoff between protesting occupiers and Federal law enforcers is taking place..
VOA (Voice of America) totally ignored the story.
But they were not alone as NPR, BBC and FSN also ignored the story.
In fact all of those news sources seemed to have exactly the same set of stories as if they were simply copying each other.
Fox News carried detailed coverage of the Oregon standoff, both as the lead story and an update at the end of their newscast.

To Be Fair
During the time period when VOA was noted to omit the Oregon Standoff from its hourly news, the Voice of America website did include a full updated story of the Oregon event with photos.
