Well Hey I Heard Two FCC Violations
As I've said in other threads my station is carrying the New Orleans Jazz Festival and the music is top rate, but twice I've heard musicians on mike using prohibited language. Why would they do that?
One of them uttered the S-word, and frankly I don't remember the context.
And just minutes ago one of them said "What the F___".
That's not necessary.
On the one hand these individuals display exceptional musical skill, but on the other reveal themselves as idjits.
Talk about failing to properly use the bathroom.

Do the radio stations bleep that out? Yeah, you'd think that the musicians would be intelligent enough to use proper language on air or in an interview. Or, is that proper language now.

The Difference Between Stage and Air
The thing in New Orleans is that the musicians who live and work there usually perform on stage to a live audience where anything goes... they can say anything.
But Mark's question: "Do the radio stations bleep that out?"
Since it's live the S_word went out and I think flew past the radio hosts, but when the F_word got said they faded out immediately and started talking about something else. They don't use a delay... it's truly live.
