Will be using a pair of loaned EV Sx200e as studio monitors. Will be driving them with a EV 7300 600W two-channel amplifier.

Picked up the factory brackets to fly them from the ceiling, and started ordering the hardware to pair with the factory brackets.

The cost of the hardware to correctly ceiling mount the speakers is more than the speakers themselves!!

Received the prints back from the PE. Very conservative design for a pair of speakers that weigh 80 pounds.

Design includes steel Unistrut® that bridges several attic joists to spread the load out, along with a suggestion for a 1/8" steel safety cable.

Original location in a bar used chain around a roof joist...

Finally had weather that cooperated !

Since the short sections of Unistrut are offset on the "spine", it rolls to a vertical position on the table. It will lay flat across the joists in the attic.
