February 27, 28, 29 of 2020 it's the Annual Winter Short Wave Listener Festival, a conference of radio hobbyists of all stripes, from DC to Daylight. Every year scores of hobbyists descend on the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA for a weekend of camaraderie. The Fest is sponsored by the North American Shortwave Association. There are guest speakers on topics covering all aspects of radio. Held at the Doubletree Guest Suites Philadelphia West, Plymouth Meeting, PA. Register early for special rates. Check-out the website at WINTER SWL FEST for all the details. I'm planning on being there!

People have invited me to this, and said it is a good party, and for the radio listener, you can hear mysterious P-15 radio stations being run at the event, and they will even send out QSL cards!
I'd want to meet Al Weiner and other staff and hosts from WBCQ, The Planet, a shortwave broadcast station.

We're thinking about going for Friday afternoon and Saturday. Need to decide quick though. Times running out.

Funny you would mention WBCQ - I had reached out to WBCQ to see about purchasing time on their 5130 transmitter, they never replied.
Wonder who hijacked the logo from whom? SP

That's surprising, I know of one other Part-15 broadcaster who has bought air time on WBCQ several times over the past few years, and they've always cared about the small broadcaster. I'd check in with them again, maybe your letter was lost. I hadn't noticed WBCQ's logo resembled the Pacifica one, just didn't see the connection, although it may be a bow to the free speech legacy of both stations. Awesome.. Boom
