James "Jim" Henry passed away October 10th, 2018. Jim was the Chairman of The Association of Low Power Broadcasters.
Jim's absence from the forum was noted in late November and early December. His last posts, August 31st, related to his medical problems and he hinted at the seriousness of the situation.
Jim worked diligently at reforming The ALPB upon his placement as Chairman. He was very cordial and well versed. He will be missed.
Jim Henry, November 1, 1952-October 10th, 2018

Yes, ALPB Member Station Neil posted at Part15 where he is a member.
I was waiting for a response from Jim's family to verify his passing. They have not responded yet but we are certain the obituary verifies this was our Jim.
Jim and I share the same birthday. Being the same age I certainly hope to remain here for a long time.

Last night I gathered some notes and a few excerpts from his post here, as well as his antique radio Facebook page, and elsewhere. just now wrote about him on my blog in a post entitled "15 months of Part 15".
I was disappointed to hear about his passing. In the same post is also mention of Ermi Roos passing which was actually several years ago, but I only found out about it last week.

Yes, I used to chat with him here, and we had personal message or two sent back and forth over these boards. What I remember most are all of the experiences he had to share, and that he was into other interesting computer/hacking things, cable TV, antique radio and other tech, and jumped in hard and fast into hobby radio, learned and did a lot in a short time, as End80 has indicated.
With all that, he still found time, or a sense of duty, to make lots of posts to the hobby boards at the same time.
Thanks for writing about Mr. Henry, End80, and Rest In Paradise, Jim.
