Seems they never left as the online store is still there. Encouraging news.

It would be nice to have some hands-on experience with some of the short-wave receivers that we see online. With this store opening up it might be pretty interesting to see some of that stuff come back.
Maybe we'll start the sea part 15 am transmitters being sold there as well. If not the transmitter is certainly the kits. That science fair kit for $7 with a few mod really didn't do that bad.

Troy have you considered lobbying Heath-Kit about producing a stereo AM transmitter kit?

Might be a good idea to lobby Heath Kit for C-Quam Stereo transmitter kits I'm wondering however how close ot would be to Sean Cuthbert's TX. Did you know Sean use tto have fully assembled units before the narcs cam and ruined that for us handicapped folks? Sorry had to throw that one in.
What about lobbying for fully assembled units that are certified and C-Quam? Radio Shack could have their own brand. They should also sell part 15 AM antenna's or antenna kits or books with antenna schematics that would really be sweet. Along with the assembled transmitters a chart of open local frequencies should be posted or only sell crystal controlled units as where the only crystals they carry in that area are open frequencies. This way no one would be able to start trouble with a licensed station. I'm sure however the average person will turn their nose up at AM so that in itself keeeps troublemakers out.
