In the late 1950s RCA Corporation built a massive "Vee Zee" UHF TV antenna that weighed 26-tons for an extraordinary television station that received authority to operate with 4.5-million_Watts on top of a 1,610 tower at Quincy, Illinois. That amazing story surfaced while researching for two radio programs in 2007 focusing on a low power TV Genie Transmitter that broadcast on channel 14. As a treat for ALPB members and visitors here are links to my original radio programs and the actual WJJY-TV story! Adventures in the 3rd Dementia Adventures in the 3rd Dementia The WTTY-TV Story
