You're too far south for their coverage area.. I just read there once in a while, but I like everything about ALPB forums better. One thing I'd give them credit for is having personal blogs, those can be nice, with members posting videos and pictures of their antennas and stuff in kind of a no intrusion zone. Boom

I've come back (temporarily) from my self-imposed exile to respond to this.
John, you should have received a personal e-mail with a suggestion on how to log in to the new Part15.org site. Please let me know (via e-mail) if it works.
There have been numerous issues with the site as we come up to speed, which is to be somewhat expected, given how fast it was created (from scratch, no less). It takes time to work all the kinks out. If you are having issues, all you need to do is to fill in the Contact Webmaster form on that site, and someone should respond.
Obviously, we're not going to twist your arm if you prefer not to participate. All we ask is that you give the administrators the time and opportunity to work out your issue if you do.

there an issue where previous passwords don't work apparently and after so many failed tries to log in it locks you out for a short while even the contact webmaster gets locked out.
the fix is to wait about 30min after failed attempt and do a password reset and you will get back in.
at least that is what happened with my account.

John is now back on Part15.org.
Virtually all login problems being experienced can be fixed by contacting an admin & getting them to reset your password. It does appear that some (but not all) passwords failed to move over correctly (I had no problem with mine).
I have no idea whether Part15 Engineer's solution works but I will be looking into it. Initial password resets have been hit and miss, at least from what I've heard, but the admin solution always works.
You can get hold of me via the contact mechanism on this Forum, or submit a Contact Admin Form over at Part15.org. I'll be checking that form at least once daily, and I always check my e-mail.
We're working hard to get everyone back into the site!

Hi, Artisan! Thought you quit this forum because it's American? There was an incident recently that I posted about here just a while back that I thought couldn't be happening in the US in 2018 and felt like you but I'm still staying with the forum and will still purchase from an American based company(which could change but not yet) but I will never go to the USA and have no need to.

The Raising of Part 15 dot Org
The quiet energy being expended to bring back the slain part15(dot)us has certainly been detected by the Off Spring of that great Original Pioneering low power radio website.
That's right, The ALPB is the off-spring of the original... the idea for this was spawned by member Lefty Gomez and endorsed early-on by J.P.Janze and we have been inter-locking sites ever since.
The ALPB was lucky to be here during the crisis and afterward, as things get sorted out.
Belonging to both sites is the key to a full and rewarding radio experience.
The Dedication Ceremony welcoming the Return of Part15.org will be an Extravagant Day Long Event with dancing lovelies.

No trouble with part 15.org here. I don't have to log in as my computer remembers me and I'm logged in already when I go there as is here or with other site like Ebay, Amazon, Paypal etc.

I will monitor this site, and will step in and help out with Part15.org issues. As with anything, boycotts have to be reasonable. I want to ensure that everyone who wants to participate over at Part15.org, can in fact do so. I'm not 100% sure of the reasons for the name change, but I suspect it's to highlight the (now) international nature of the site.
I feel that I've made my point to some extent just by getting people talking about the issues surrounding the current U.S. government. Talk, after all, is the basis for all change.
It should be noted that the groundswell for U.S. boycotts is gathering in Canada, particularly after the most recent Trump remarks regarding Trudeau and Canada after the G7.

Trudeau has the best weapon and that's the oil. That pipeline that Trump wanted built that Obama stopped won't be any good if the tap is turned off. Trudeau should keep that for the knock out punch.

I had minimal problems when first logging in which JP quickly corrected, but still cannot upload a profile picture or edit my profile in anyway. John is now back on Part15.org. Jim,
I had a similar problem and it was because I run NoScript. If you also run NoScript try "allow all this page" for the site. If this is the case please let us know if it works.
Otherwise, you can use the contact us feature to report the problem.
For those who tried to contact Part15org admins using the contact us and received no response this is not because you were being ignored. It turned out that the external email service the site was using was a high traffic site which apparently was losing emails. A switch was made to another service which seems to be working now.

Mark, Except in tyrannical countries the global oil markets just don't work like this. Canada's oil producers MUST sell that oil, to maintain their market capitalization. They don't necessarily have to sell it to the U.S. unless that is the most profitable, but it likely would be the most profitable outlet for the product if the U.S. is willing to accept it. Trudeau has the best weapon and that's the oil. That pipeline that Trump wanted built that Obama stopped won't be any good if the tap is turned off. Trudeau should keep that for the knock out punch.

Neil, I don't knowingly run Noscript unless it is running as part of PC-Matic or Opera Developer. Using the "Contact Us" form on Part15.org I just posted this message "Whenever I attempt to update my profile photo or cover photo I get a HTTP error with no further explanation. Thanks. Jim" Jim, I had a similar problem and it was because I run NoScript. If you also run NoScript try "allow all this page" for the site. If this is the case please let us know if it works.
