i have swapped out my vertical dipole for a Shively CP antenna. so in addition to the system losses i described in another thread this adds another 3.43 DB loss to the antenna system also i added another barrel connector to join the antenna pigtail to my longer piece of coax which introduces about another 3db in system losses.
i have to be close to part 15 levels now.
my range is about 100ft now.

If your getting out about 100 Ft your on par with a C. Crane FM1 or FM2 FM transmitter. People claim to get that range with it and from Timinbovey's test it was actually under 250 uVm at 3 meters.
