The Verdict is In
The writer Larry Downes, author of the piece linked in the opening post, is the smearer here. Consider his title "Why is the Media Smearing New FCC Chairman Aijet Pai As the Enemy of Net neutrality?".
In his revisionist history Downes smears five top rated media outlets, The Verge, The Inquirer, L.A.Times, The Daily Beast, and Vox. What Downes achieves is a reverse smear on Forbes, his publisher.
Disarming Net Neutrality was Pai's top priority based obviously on the fact that it was his first order of business on taking the Chair.
Pai's now well exposed half-assed "hack attack" on FCC public comments in opposition to the repeal of net neutrality is conveniently left out of Downes attempt to make everyone out to be too stupid to realize that what clearly happened didn't happen.
Chunks of sky laying all over the place is no proof that the sky fell, according to the likes of Larry Downes.
