Here's something interesting I was reading, from commercial broadcast land and thought it was topical enough to share here, positive views from radio people hearing WXYG, The Goat in Minnesota. They are album rock. www.broadcastengineering.info/viewtopic.php?t=4117Boomer

yea hooo AM Stereo is coming back. About time!! OK the only thing holding me back from buying the aspisys is that I can't find an already made ATU for it so I can just connect the BNC output into the ATU and then from the ATU into a CB ground plane like a 1/4 wave, 64th wave and put the antenna on the pole where my FM antenna was and be done with it. The ground radials of the ground plane should get my station out 2 miles and I'd have AM Stereo and meed the stringent Album Rock requirements of this 100% most picky format on the planet.
If I transmit in AM Stereo I could find sound effects to make an AM Stereo promotion like "WAQM The Legacy The Only station in Deltaville bringing Quality Sound Back To AM!" And "You've heard AM Crap, but we're the only Stereo AM station bringing quality music back to AM!"
Maybe I could get sellers of AM Stereo receivers to donate to my station because it transmits Album Rock and in AM Stereo. So I need that damn pre built ATU with the connector already on it then I can use any 50 ohn antenna I see fit. This will make things a whole lot easier indeed. I really want C-Quam because if I do this man I'm gonna do it the right way and my station should get a whole lot of attention in Deltaville because of what I'll do.
