Ground Quality
Jim Henry: "Now I just wish the ground conductivity here was better..."
I am guessing, but I'll bet, since our broadcast ground area is not too large, that ground quality can probably be improved by adding whatever elements are lacking.
There are ground treatments done in agriculture, so why not in electrical chemistry?
Something new to search for.

Maybe I'll try some of this Terra-sorb stuff. I did read about Sodium Bentonite on the Chez Radio (Procaster) site but when I researched it I got the impression that it turned hard like concrete. I do have an 18" bit for my hammer drill so I could drill some holes (that's how I started the ground rod) but not sure how easy it will be to go deeper. Perhaps I'll drill a few holes, put a root waterer in one of them and fill the others with Terra-sorb. Can't hurt.
