Hi TheLegacy, not too many are really being deleted from what I've read in other places, but I haven't researched it. I'd assume that the last time AM radio was a real cash cow was in the 1960s, when lots of new daytimers came on out in the suburbs as local signals.
Radio's always had to change to remain attractive to listeners, and a lack of creativity on broadcast radio is one of the big problems. That's why it's cool that they're helping to make money for the station with a funding page on the internet. That might be a good thing, have listeners donate something each month, like a tithe to the station.
I wonder if any other stations are doing that? I know that there are individual programs that have funding pages.
